Should You Board Your Pets?

Teri Lippens (541) 315-6474

Why Hire Me?

As any pet parent knows, finding reliable care for your beloved pets can be your most stressful mission. It isn’t as though there is a shortage of options, but sometimes all of the options can seem overwhelming.

Please consider using me as your in-home critter sitter for your dogs, cats, llamas, reptiles, small animals, reptiles, birds, even chickens over other methods of pet care because:

•I work with one client at a time and will not be caring for any home or pets but yours. Most other services will only come to your home for 15 minutes to give your pets a potty break and make sure they have food and water. I will stay in your home providing only for your needed pet care until you return.

•You and your pets will benefit by the consistency of having the same pet-loving caregiver in your home. Reducing the stress and anxiety that’s inevitable from having random people who are unfamiliar with your pet’s routine or whom you don’t trust. After just a short time I’m confident you and your pets will get to know and love me; making future visits happy ones.

•Your pets get to remain in their own comfortable and familiar environment. Ask any cat and they will tell you, traveling in a car is nerve-wracking. They would much prefer to stay where their creature comforts are.

•Your pets get one-on-one care from an experienced pet caregiver – meaning they do not need to beg for attention over other animals and they get all the kisses and belly rubs they can handle!

•In a kennel it is difficult to determine whether or not your dog is receiving the exercise they need. When I report they received 30 minutes of exercise you can be sure they were moving for half an hour (they’re not just left in a boarding cage to be taken out twice a day for a quick potty break).

•Viruses can be rampant when a bunch of pups get together and hang out. If one gets a respiratory infection the whole kennel has a shot at getting it and likely will.

•If your pets have special needs such as diet or medications I will make certain those needs receive the attention they require and deserve.

•Your home will have an extra layer of protection while you are away. I will stay at your home and watch it as well as your pets. Your home will show signs of life and activity. I also do the day to day activities like bringing in the mail and putting the garbage out. Lights go on and off at the intervals they do when a home is occupied.

•It is more economical than boarding, especially for those of you with more than one pet. It’s the best of all worlds, better care for your pets, a safer home and saving money!

•I’m an experienced house and pet sitter who will make caring for your home and pets my number one priority.

I Will Pamper Your Pets

When your pets stay at home instead of being boarded, your dog will relax, your cat will feel special and your bird will get social time (we won't actually touch the bird unless you tell us they like it, I just like that picture).
